Who we are
The site is run by Thanawat Makkaroon, based in Thailand ("we", "us"). You can reach us at hello@teleprompt.net.
The service
The teleprompter is free. There is no account, trial or watermark. It runs in your browser, and recording depends on your browser, device, camera and microphone, which we don't control.
We may change, add or remove features, or stop the service, at any time. If we ever plan to charge for something, we will say so on the site before it starts.
Your scripts and recordings
- They are yours. We claim no rights to your scripts or videos. Most of them never reach us at all; see the privacy policy.
- You are responsible for what you record. Make sure you have the right to use your script, and the consent of anyone else who appears or is heard in your video, as the law where you record requires.
- Keep your own copies. A recording exists only in your browser until you download it. If the tab closes, the browser crashes or the device runs out of space before you save it, the take is lost and we cannot recover it.
Short links and the connector
When an AI app uses the connector, the script is encrypted and stored for 30 days so the link can be short. By using the connector, you allow us to keep that encrypted copy for that time to serve the link.
Anyone who has a link can open the script until it expires, so share links only with people you want to read them. You must not use the connector or links to store or spread anything illegal, malicious code, or content that harasses or infringes the rights of others.
We can't read stored scripts, but if someone reports a link to us, or we see abuse such as automated bulk requests, we may delete that link or block access to the connector. To have a link of yours deleted early, email us the part of the link between #s= and the dot. Never send the part after the dot: that is the key.
AI services and your API keys
- Other companies' services. Write with AI opens ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Grok or Gemini, and the connector runs inside AI apps. Those services have their own terms and policies, which apply when you use them.
- Your own API key. If you add one, requests go from your browser straight to that provider. You are responsible for the key and for any charges the provider bills you.
- Check what the AI writes. AI-written scripts can contain mistakes. Read them before you say them on camera.
Fair use of the site
Don't try to break, overload or get around the limits of the site or the connector, access links that weren't shared with you, or use the service for anything illegal. Normal use, including by AI apps acting for you, is fine.
Names and trademarks
ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok, Perplexity and the other product names on this site belong to their owners. We name them only to say what works with the teleprompter. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by any of them.
No warranty
The service is provided free and "as is". We work to keep it running and correct, but we don't promise that it will always be available, error-free, or suitable for a particular purpose, or that a recording will always succeed.
Limits on liability
As far as the law allows, we are not liable for lost recordings or scripts, lost profits or opportunities, or any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the service. Because the service is free, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to 1,000 Thai baht.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited, such as for fraud, gross negligence or wilful misconduct, or any rights you have as a consumer that cannot be waived.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms, we will update this page and the date at the top. If you keep using the site after that, the new terms apply. If you don't agree with them, stop using the site.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Thailand, and the courts of Thailand will hear any dispute. If you are a consumer living in another country, you also keep any protections that the law of your country gives you and that cannot be excluded by agreement.
